The most Christmassy of days

How are you all? Getting festive? Feeling organised or stressed and panicked about the big day?

At the weekend we had the nicest day – it was a lovely day spent with my husband, we went round a few places that are just perfect at this time of year. #Redfields garden centre was the first place and I have to say I had to get reigned in not to buy a whole new set of decorations! It’s just that every year I seem to change my mind about what colours I want on the #Christmas tree but this year I pretty much have stuck with golds, whites and greys.

Anyway we enjoyed walking into what looked like a Christmas wonderland and it was just magical, this was just the decorations though we hadn’t got to the trees yet …

Now you’d like to think there was enough here to chose from but none were quite right in the budget we wanted to spend. Then I remembered a place recommended last year that is so close to our house. #WestGreenfruits – we ‘picked our own’ there in the summer and so popped there to see if we could find our tree – they were amazing! โ€‹โ€‹

We started off by wandering around and people were there to help find our perfect tree, so friendly and they’d unwrap some if needed but best of all they also handed us some mulled wine and mince pies, yum ๐Ÿ˜ they also had wreaths and the best thing was you paid a price (cheaper than other places) for an empty, real wreath but then they give you the ribbon and some wires and you could buy lots of little bits (cost worked out on weight) to add to your wreath! Now you know how much I like crafty things, well I got to come home and make my own! ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

We also found our perfect tree for a very reasonable price, came home put on Polar Express and decorated our tree and wreath. Have any of you got yours up yet? Id love to see them!

Now just to finish and this is so unlike me but I’ve also started wrapping! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ is there anything better than pretty wrapping paper that matches decoration colours and that sits under your tree for ages.

I am sorry but also not sorry for my 2nd Christmas post! I also just want to put a thank you out there I had such a good time at the Christmas markets last week and wanted to thank lots of you for support and kind words about my stall – I loved setting it all up and was lovely to see some of you there!

Happy 6th day of Advent all.

Lots of love

Jenny X
